Matthew 7:21-23 (NASB) says:
"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'"
I'm not sure I understand the question posed, as Jesus is not saying in this passage that He will reject everyone who believes in Him. He is only saying He will reject those who He did not know in an intimate way.
They will come up with many excuses, to be sure, but if He did not know them intimately, if they are not His adopted brothers and sisters, if He is not their Lord, and if they do not love Him, their excuses will fall on deaf ears.
Don't let this be you. If you do not have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, there is no better time than now to repent and turn to Him.
In John 6:37, Jesus states "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out."

We humans are all foolish and silly. When we are converted, it is with the full confidence of God's promises for us, but almost all of us eventually begin to doubt what He has told us. Praise God that He is merciful and patient with us, providing us with evidences of salvation in addition to His initial guarantee. We should not doubt the initial guarantee, but we almost always wind up doing so.
But God's initial promise, in which we believed, can be reconfirmed for us evidentially by whether or not we have confessed that Jesus Christ is Lord, believed in our heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9-11); are personally devoted to Christ and are actively following Christ (John 14:15, 14:23); love our brothers and sisters in Christ (1 John 4:20) and exhibit fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23; Matthew 7:20).

Even your fear of God is Biblical evidence of a right relationship with Him (Ecclesiastes 8:13, 12:13; 1 Peter 2:17; Luke 1:50, 12:5; Psalm 147:11, etc).
Don't be paralyzed by your human doubts. They are certainly inappropriate, but God has allowed for them. We Christians, because of our forgetfulness and ineptitude, ought to continually examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith (2 Corinthians 13:5). Remember John the Baptist, who declared Jesus as the Lamb of God at the beginning of Christ's ministry (John 1:29, 1:36), when he was thrown in prison, also had doubts about what he had confessed (Luke 7:19-20). But see the praise Jesus gives him (John 5:35; Matthew 11:9, 11:11).
